Default Inscribable raven staffs and other old school weapons

I really like raven staff skin, although many players consider it junk, but in my opinion looks really cool especially on necro. The only one I have is an old school 10/10 curse based, and I would like to have a new one with the new 20% recharge and the possibility to put an inscription.

Unfortunately, they only drop in Tyria (mainly in southern shiverpeaks and ToPK), not inscribable, so the chance to find a decent one are realistically zero, also because there are not so many players in such areas.

If you want a confirmation, check on guru, there are 21 crystallines, some of them perfect and inscribable, and only 2 raven staffs and of course with crappy stats. So, if a perfect crystalline could be worth 4-5 millions, a perfect raven staff should go for 8-10 millions, because it's much rarer!

So, my suggestions are:

1. Now that from HoH chest is possible to get inscribable items from all campaigns, even some that were not inscribable before, like
mursaat hammers(P)
gothic swords(F)
gothic dual axes(F)
broadblade swords(F)
why not adding inscribable raven staffs to the list of possible drops of HoH chests?
The same can be suggested also for summit axes and summit warlord shields (I have already 2 perfect summit axes, so I'm not speaking for myself in this case) and in general for campaign specific items, which are not available in inscribable form in that campaign.
A.net has already done this for the skins I listed before, so there should not be huge difficulties in adding some other skins.

2. This second suggestion will maybe arise criticism: now that hard mode is coming, could it be possible to get inscribable weapons in Prophecies and Factions, but only if you choose the hard mode?

I realize that the inscription system is considered by A.net an incentive for old players to buy NF.
But anyway, NF has been out since October 2006 and I don't think that there are so many GWP and GWF players still undecided about purchasing NF. Instead the possibility to get inscribable weapons in P and F playing in hard mode could be an incentive to NF only players to buy a previous campaign, because they could have the possibility to get items comparable to the NF ones.

I always liked the raven staff and alot of the other "old school" weapons from proph. I would like to see them inscibable, as well as some perfect weapons. Another weapon i like and want a perfect if one is exists is the jellyfish wand.

Firstly, I admire you for spelling 'inscribable' correctly. Nobody else does and it makes me want to tear my hair out.

I think they will make inscriptions continental eventually. +5 energy weapons were unique to Cantha and were made available in Tyria at Nightfall's release and we began to see +5 energy Chaos Axes and Long Swords in Tyria.

Inscribable weapons are still a selling point of Nightfall and I think it'll remain that way until Eye of the North is released in Q3/4 2007. My theory is purely speculative but I hope you can see the logic in it.

Anyway,

well the only problem with this is the same as why there are new armors in old areas cause Anet can add on quite easy but to include new things on old stuff would take a major overhaul and would take so much work its not funny, im a programmer myself and i have to say you have no idea what its like to alter peices of a program with changeing the whole damn thing. i have to say i see no reason for this.

Setting the whole game to an uniform system is a must.

Eveything should be updated to become the same.

Starting missions by talking to an NPC, challenges in all campaings, inscriptions and insignias... hero skill points...

The best of all campaings in all campaigns.

I agree with getting inscription slots on Prophecies and Factions items. While I can see reasons for not making it immediate across all regions and existing items when Nightfall came out, I've been hoping that either hard mode or Guild Wars: Eye of the North will offer an excuse to make all new drops across all three regions inscribable. While some would complain or be saddened that their old Summit Shield is now "cheapened", at least you could go out and get a new, more moddable one.

There are a lot of great skins in the first two campaigns, and I'd love to be able to mod them up fully and customize them as I'd like.

At least there could be an Incribbler and a Armor Crafter adding slots (by removing all the attribute, making they 'plain' with only the defaul ones)...

You would still have to buy Nightfall, but you'll hav to get the other two to get they armors.

I loved the weapons/armor from Proph (though i thought the armor was lacking in factions) but i would like to see it all mod-able. There are certain weapons/armor that were just amazing skins, but the mods on them are near useless in current game play. A mod-able crystaline sword, would make more then one warrior happy i think. I would like to see the specialty proffs get armor in proph. It makes since to have them there but thats another post.

I don't care how hard it is. This is an adaptable game. I love my raven staffs and wish they were in the game more too. Of the origional staffs it was one of the best designs the only one better was the two headed dragon.
